Listen: Neon Indian - Era Extrana Mix Tape

To accompany the deluxe vinyl release of the Neon Indian's huge 2011 album Era Extrana, an untitled mix tape has been included with a range of material, some of which surely inspired main-man Alan Palomo. This 48-minute mix includes some Toro Y Moi remixes of Neon Indian's previous work as well as some fairly obscure (to me at least) 80s French and Spanish new-wave and synthpop bands in Liaisons Dangereuses and Aviador Dro.

Although a lot of this mix is pretty unknown to me other than Toro Y Moi and Com Truise (who's amazing), it's a really worthwhile listen especially in terms of seeing what influences Neon Indian, which is clearly audible throughout.

(From some Googling...)
The full tracklist is as follows:

5. Aviador Dro – Amor Industrial
