Brazilian minimal-tech artist and acclaimed producer, Gui Boratto is returning for his third album to be entitled 'III'. Succeeding the hugely successful Chromophobia release back in 2007, 2009's Take My Breath Away was a rather underwhelming followup.
The first single to be released off 'III' is called 'The Drill' and it appears to be somewhat of a return to his debut album with a simple three note melody with the habitual fuzzes, glitches and an array of metallic-sounding-things, 'The Drill' is a thoroughly enjoyable listen.
Set for release on September 29 for German powerhouse electronic label Kompakt, it will be intriguing to see just what direction 'III' will go in.
